Prodigal House Ministries, Inc
Land of Rest and Ministry of Restoration

About Us

Located on a beautiful 160 acre tract of land in the Appalachian region of southern Ohio, our land offers beautiful walking trails, fields of wildflowers, cleared areas for camping or prayer, and outdoor meeting spaces.

We are a non-denominational ministry focused on strengthening the Body of Christ by welcoming prodigals home, ministering to the broken, equipping each for his or her call in ministry, and providing rest and restoration for leaders and servants. Our ministry was originally founded on Luke 15:20:

“And he (the prodigal son) arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.”

We believe the Father knows and sees each person and desires for him or her to live in the fullness of their God given purpose here on earth.

If you are a church leader or have served in ministry and find yourself in need of time away with the Lord and further equipping to continue the work of ministry, please contact us. We would love to come alongside you and to provide this necessary rest and restoration.

Vision Statement

To strengthen the Body of Christ through biblical training, equipping and discipleship with an emphasis on discovering and fulfilling each person’s gift and calling.

Charlie didn’t express HIS opinions, He expressed GODS opinions. He only told people what the Bible says about controversial issues. He also never forced Himself on anyone, they came to him and he spoke in a loving yet Bold way, the way Jesus spoke when He was on earth. Just because it offended people or they disagreed does not make them right because in the end the Bible and HIS truth will always be the standard no matter how we feel about what is said. We must realize our feelings do not dictate God’s truth. The disciples also were beaten and killed for speaking the Truth of God also because it offended peoples way of living or how it made them feel. God only cares that we know the truth because the truth is what sets us free and at the end of the day whether we agree or disagree or whether we like it or we don’t, It’s STILL THE TRUTH and is still our standard to live by. I can tell you from experience that I have not always liked what the Bible said about my lifestyle or the way I was living and my feelings have been hurt many times over from not understanding but the scripture doesn’t lie and it will never change just because I want it to or try to twist it too make it what I wish it would be just so I can live how I want to. It is the standard of all standards and I am forever grateful for that standard because time and time again that standard has and will forever set me free from the lies that I have believed. So as Christians we MUST never water down God‘s truth because of how we feel or how others feel. Remember, the world also hated Jesus and crucified Him for speaking these very same truths, and they crucified Him because it didn’t fit how they wanted to live. I encourage everyone who has offense not to just get angry but take it to the Lord and Ernestly ask Him to truly reveal the truth to you and do your own research in Scripture of those issues that Charlie spoke about and see if they don’t align with the Bible. Get in your word and study for yourself & get the word of the Lord deep inside you, as this is the best way to overcome the spirit of offense. Jesus loves us so much that He laid down His own life for these very same Truths so that we could be free♥️
